Vegetable Burger 

Ingredients


Vegetable burger 

  • 3  boiled (mashed potatoes)
  • ΒΌ cup green peas  (boiled)
  • 1 no green chili chopped
  • 1 tsp chopped coriander
  • 1/2 tsp red  chili powder
  • 1 tsp chat masala
  • 1 tbsp corn flour 
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for greasing and cooking 

For cocktail mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp  tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp  mayonnaise
  • 1tbsp  whole double cream
  • Optional pepper sauce 
  • Salt & pepper to taste 

Extra ingredients

  • 1 no burger bun
  • Melted butter ( unsalted)
  • 1 slice cheese
  • 1 no tomato slice
  • 1 no onion slice
  •  2 no gherkin slice
  • 1 leaves roman lettuce

Method for patty (tikki)

  1.  Combine all the ingredients with mashed potatoes and green peas,   in a bowl and mix well.
     
  2. Make it big  balls of potato mixture and flatten them by palm into a round in shape or as your burger size. 
     
  3. Heat the oil in a kadhai, deep-fry patty (tikki) till golden brown in colour from both the side

  4. Drain extra oil using absorbent paper and keep aside.

 For cocktails dressing

  1. Combine all ingredient and mix well

How to arrange

  1.  Cut the burger bun into the half  then apply butter and  toast them in the salamander or tawa
     
  2. Keep the cheese slice on the patty , gratin ate in salamander for half a minute.  

  3. Spread the cocktails dressing on the burger.

  4. Then place the and cheese patty on the burger bottom
  5. Put lettuce then tomato slice , onion slice and gherkin on the burger head.
      

  6. Serve hot with french fries and  salad.
