MASALA RICE

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cup Basmati Rice
  • 1tbsp Ginger Julienne
  • 2 Tomato Dice
  • 1 No Green Chili Slant Cut
  • 2Cloves
  • 1 Cinnamon -Inch Piece
  • 1Bay Leaf
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 4 Cup Water
  • ¼ Tsp Garam Masala
  • ½ Tsp Coriander Powder
  • ½ Tsp Red Chili Powder



METHOD

  1. Wash And Soak Rice In Water For 20 Minutes. Drain And Keep It Aside.

  2. Heat The Oil In A Pot  Add Cloves, Cinnamon And Star Anise Bay- Leaf, Sauté For A Few Second  And Then Add Onion Chopped Cook Till Translucent .  Add Tomato Dice   Green Chili  And Ginger Julienne Cook For Few Minute .
     
  3. Add All Spices Cook Cook Till Oil Leaves The Masala. Add The Rice And Sauté For Four To Five Minutes. Add The Water And Salt Cover With A Lid And Cook Till The Rice Is Done.

  4. Serve Hot
